Q. Do you file dental insurance?
A. We will gladly file your insurance as an out-of-network provider. Please prepare to pay your co-pay or deductible when you visit. We accept assignment of benefits, which means that your insurance provider can reimburse us directly for their portion of your balance. If your carrier does not reimburse us the expected amount, we will adjust your balance accordingly. For answers to your questions about dental insurance please call us.
Q. Does my insurance cover that?
A. Dental insurance is diverse. Some policies cover only a small percentage of fees, while others cover 50 percent or greater. The more you or your employer pays for premiums, the better the coverage, in most cases. Generally speaking, dental insurance covers some restorative and preventive procedures. Cosmetic treatment is not usually covered. We offer Care Credit financing to make cosmetic dentistry affordable for all patients. If you have a question, give us a call. Q. What can I expect my first visit?
A. Your first cleaning appointment you can expect to be here for 1 hour. Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointed time. You will be scheduled with one of our 3 qualified dental hygienists, she will go over your health/dental history, take "cavity detecting" radiographs, perform a through cleaning and have Dr. McCann do a comprehensive exam. We will review your treatment plan, discuss your dental insurance, and help make it possible for you to move forward with your treatment by trying to work out a reasonable payment plan.
Q. Do you do Cosmetic dentistry?
A. Dr. McCann can repair teeth, straighten teeth, whiten teeth and even replace teeth to enhance appearance. We offer invisalign, lumineers, bonding, crowns and bridges and tooth whitening.
